Founded in 1953, AHS "(encourages the) study of all matters relating to the art and history of time measurement, … and the preservation of examples of the horological and allied arts". The journal, Antiquarian Horology, is published quarterly.
Chronometrophilia is the Swiss Association of Watch Friends. The organization publishes two bulletins a year. Members include watch enthusiasts, collectors, and museum curators.
The DGC (German Society for Chronometry) is dedicated to researching and preserving the history of time measurement. Members can access the research library, and network with others through member-led excursions and lectures.
International Society for the Study of Time (ISST)

Founded by author J. T. Fraser in 1966, ISST's mission is "to foster the interdisciplinary study of time."
The NAWCC maintains one of the largest horological research libraries in the world. The organization has nearly 10,000 members and over 100 local and specialty chapters for anyone interested in timepieces and the art and science of timekeeping.
