Paint Mixing Machines

An early paint mixer, the "Wee Macgregor," suspended three paddles into the paint cylinder.  As the handle was turned, these rotated on separate axes counter to the direction of the cylinder.  From Paint and Colour Mixing by Arthur Jennings, 1921.
